World Mental Health Day 2020
World Mental Health day will be tomorrow (10th October 2020).
We know this year has been a tough one, particularly for people living with mental illness. The months of lockdown have not helped, and research suggests that nearly 80% of people living with mental illness say that covid19 and the national response have made their mental health worse. We are aware that many have developed new mental health problems as a result of the pandemic and, for some of us, existing mental health problems have gotten worse.
This year’s theme is ‘do one thing’, so be sure to take a moment this weekend to do one thing & bekind and think of how we can push for a better world post-pandemic.
